Method of comprehensive stimulation of child’s development in a kindergarten environment

In our work we aim at shaping children’s learning habits by applying various active methods of teaching (projects, learning through experience, etc.) As a result, children acquire useful skills, abilities and habits:

-         understanding one’s experiences-         theoretical thinking, arriving at hypothesis, analytical and synthetic thinking
-
         curiosity to find out things
-
         drive for accuracy and precision
-
         empirical approach
-
understanding the consequences of one’s actions
-
perseverance in pursuing a goal-         ability to understand cause-effect relations
-
         anticipating feelings of others

Why to choose this educational programme for your child? The programme covers learning reading and writing in both Polish and English languages from the very first days spent in the kindergarten. Global Methods applied ensure fast and stress-free learning and prevents children from developing dysfunctions, such as: dyslexia, dysgraphy, dysorhtography (Glenn Doman’s method)

The programme encourages children to acquire new information and skills emotionally – this triggers in children a strong motivation for continuous development.

“A student positively encouraged by their own ideas shows higher ability to solve problems and greater penchant for broadening their knowledge.”

Judy Harris Helm, Lilian G. Katz

We teach children by providing them with factual information about the world in a simple and logical way. Facts are the basis of knowledge. Children learn facts at a pace adults can never achieve. Facts are the foundations of intelligence. For a small child, learning facts is as easy as anything and, above all, is a good fun. The younger the children, the easier it is for them to learn facts (1).

The programme develops variety of arts skills.

Music accompanies children every day (Bach, Mozart, folk music, e.g. Cuban music). Music is especially important during activities developing sensory integration and global reading exercises.
In our teaching programme we stress the importance of acquiring by children the ability to commune with nature – ranging from what is close to the child: flowers, bushes, birds and animals to more distant notions of the world and outer space.

The programme is run in cycles corresponding to the changing seasons, everyday life, celebrations in the kindergarten and at home (e.g. Kindergarten Pupil’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Grandmother’s Day, Grandfather’s Day, Children’s Day, Christmas, Easter, ‘Museum Week’, ‘Let’s Do Theatre’, ‘We Can Use the Library and the Internet’, ‘I Protect Nature etc.)

The programme enables active, judicious parents to participate in the process of their child’s development. It is based on continuous communication between the family of the child and the kindergarten environment. Parents have a chance of broadening their educational skills in order to form a happy, well-developed, wise and cheerful person.
